Which type are you?

I will admit, one of my favorite features of my Tesla is the fart machine, strictly because it absolutely cracks my toddler up.

But following in a close second is just how automated everything is.

I love that the air conditioning and my favorite Spotify playlist start up automatically. I love that I don't need a key, like, ever. I love autopilot. I even love the wireless charging dock.

But I've become spoiled.

I tried to drive another car the other day and it took me a solid minute to figure out that there was an actual key I needed to put in the ignition. 😅🙄

Which leads to my question for pondering today... how much automation is too much?

Personally, I prefer writing the majority of my marketing content in the moment. Like these entries - I sit down and write them each and every day (which explains why I might skip a day...or two...here and there...).

I used to try to batch create and bulk schedule everything because it really was best for my busy mompreneur schedule and that's what people told me to do, but I found that I was lacking the connection I got from live posting.

To be clear, I have no problem with batch creating if that's how you roll (and I do still batch some content, especially launch promo materials). But when I batched content, I tended to forget which audience was seeing what when. And then when someone reached out to say they loved my email! or something of the sort, I would be stuck fumbling trying to figure out what actually went out that day.

Stuck trying to remember how to put the key in the ignition.

So I'd love to hear your thoughts - are you a batch creator or a fly-by poster? Let me know! (There are definite pros and cons to each method, so there's no right or wrong answer here!)

Talk soon!
